2016 Season

The 2016 NBBC Summer Staff is a group of mostly familiar faces, back for another summer season. After the incredibly safe and successful summer of 2015, returning Camp Manager, Bill Tarver is back to lead this year's team of NBBC staff veterans. However, we also want to welcome our new staff members to camp, including this year's Assistant Manager and his wife, Jack & Adele, along with Cooper Bach (son of David and Annelle).
Welcome to everyone!!

"Camps of Geneva Lake" Author Visits NBBC

Jill Westberg, co-author of the new book "Camps of Geneva Lake" visited NBBC on Saturday June 25th and gave a presentation about the history of our lake's camps, including Olivet / NBBC. More than 40 cottagers attended the facinating evening, which featured a slideshow of historic pictures and concluded with a book signing by the author. Copies of the book are available for purchase in the camp office.

NBBC's Patrick Brown Leads Church Service

Norman B. Barr Camp's own Patrick Brown, son of Blaze and Nancy Brown, was our guest pastor Sunday June 26th, leading our church service in the Bowman Chapel. Patrick grew up here at camp and currently teaches theology at Loyola Academy in Wilmette, IL. The service also featured special music from members of NBBC's Children's Sunday School program, who sang "Happy All The Time" for the happy and smiling congregation.
