Once again, this year's Children's Program Staff was top notch and provided our campers with an array of Activities, Adventure and Fun. This diverse group of young people, lead by returning 2015 counselor and our new Program Director Megan, included the great grandchildren of former pioneer cottagers Ray & Elva Vogel (Erica) and Walter & Helen Bach (Kyle), plus a former NBBC camper from St. Gall's (Diana) and newcomer, Michael.
We thank them for a job well done!

NBBC Added Yerkes Observatory Evenings for Campers

One of the most exciting new additions to our camper program in 2015 was our evening hikes to nearby Yerkes Observatory, where our campers received a private tour of the facility, learned about the universe and got a view of space through a huge 24'' telescope (when viewing conditions warranted). This special program was enhanced by an evening hike from the observatory back to camp under the stars!

Art was in the air in 2015 as NBBC introduced a new Guest Artist program for campers and cottager children.
