NBBC's Need Continues In Off-Season
During the past couple of summer's, through the efforts of our great staff and crew of volunteers, NBBC's Camper Program has expanded and made great strides. The summer of 2015 introduced Kayaks to our Waterfront, educational field trips to Yerkes Observatory and visits from "The Science Guy". Plus, NBBC added a visiting artist program and entertaining magician to the mix of activities. The summer of 2016 brought even more new programs including the extremely popular traveling "Reptile Show". As we begin 2017, our Board of Directors are already hard at work to insure that this summer will continue in that same direction.

However, in order to continue to provide economically disadvantaged children and those with special needs with totally free summer camp experiences, our camp has become increasingly dependent upon the generosity of individuals outside of our operation for donations of goods, services and funding.

NBBC Groups from the 2016 Season

Please help us continue to help others by making a donation in any amount to insure that our camp's infrastructure, buildings, grounds and programs continue to operate properly. Thanks to donations NBBC receives and the devotion of our volunteers, our mission can grow with the tools and materials we need to succeed. Please visit our Donate Page for secure and convenient ways to donate and assist our cause. Thank you from all of us at NBBC!

Thanks to the 2016 Summer Staff!

The 2016 NBBC Summer Staff was a group of mostly familiar faces, back for another summer season. After the incredibly safe and successful summer of 2015, returning Camp Manager, Bill Tarver was back to lead this year's experienced team of NBBC staff veterans ... and once again, they did a stellar job providing our campers and community with another safe, successful and fun-filled summer season at Norman B. Barr Camp.
Thank you to everyone!!
