|Happy New Year|
The 2017 Season at
NBBC is just a few months away and our 108th year gives us yet another
opportunity to provide an exciting and fun summer of service to
others by hosting ten different groups of children and young adults
who are economically challenged or have special needs ... all free
of charge! Carrying on the legacy and mission of Norman B. Barr,
these groups will experience all of the wonders this beautiful lake
has to offer and their lives will be enriched through the enjoyment
of God's gifts of nature, community and faith.
NBBC's Need Continues In Off-Season
In order to continue to provide economically disadvantaged children and those with special needs with totally free summer camp experiences, our camp has become increasingly dependent upon the generosity of individuals outside of our operation for donations of goods, services and funding.
Please help us continue to help others by making a donation in any amount to insure that our camp's infrastructure, buildings, grounds and programs continue to operate properly. Thanks to donations NBBC receives and the devotion of our volunteers, our mission can grow with the tools and materials we need to succeed. Please visit our Donate Page for secure and convenient ways to donate and assist our cause. Thank you from all of us at NBBC!
|Thanks to the 2016 Summer Staff!|
The 2016 NBBC Summer
Staff was a group of mostly familiar faces, back for another summer
season. After the incredibly safe and successful summer of 2015, returning
Camp Manager, Bill Tarver was back to lead this year's experienced
team of NBBC staff veterans ... and once again, they did a stellar
job providing our campers and community with another safe, successful
and fun-filled summer season at Norman B. Barr Camp.
